Tamtron's modular RFID Gate is meant to perform automated customer access permission control as they walk through the gate to speed up customer flow. Through using the automated customer identification system a customer will feel they are getting more effective and personalized service.

Identification can be done using RFID identification tags or cards, or alternatively with a bar code reader. A person or object can be identified without direct visual contact to the reader device if necessary. This is useful especially when the customer is carrying luggage. Optionally identification can also occur via a 2D bar code sent to the customer's cellular phone. In this case a separate identification card isn't needed.

The system frees up personnel. The automatic identification system has been integrated into a physical gate to maximize security level.
