The interface unit M450 connects the wireless card reader (R400-0/1/2, D450-0) or a magnetic card reader (T460-M/MK, M400-0/1/2/3/4) to the data collection network when used for access control. In addition, it controls the locks on the doors and collects alarm information. When used in the production monitoring, the M450 connects scales and other equipment to the system.
