Tamtron Solutions' anti-theft gate can be directly plugged into an electronic outlet and is thus easy to install whenever. The versatile anti-theft gate identifies both durable, hard tags and cheap labels which can be easily hidden. Several kinds of transponders can be used in one store according to the object's size and shape.

Hard tags have a reading range of over one meter and they are durable. Several kinds of needles are available for hard tags: in addition to the traditional needle, also an ink cartridge needle can be used. It stains the stolen object when the tag is being detached.

In order to detach hard tags, a separate detacher must be used. A coded signal unlocks the needle and the tag is ready to be used again. The alarm of the labels is deactivated with an antenna when the label is taken over the terminal.
